A Trendy Coat for a Bargain Price

Lugging my two daughters, and young associate, I just had to go shopping the other evening and check out the new TJ Maxx at Atlantic and Kernan.

It was a quick, off-the-island impulse trip on a Saturday night,  where I found a sweet sweater dress by Max Studio for $39.99 and a Calvin Klein black trench (with a fab, quality interior, removable lining – for warmer or cooler temps) for $59.99.   The new TJ MAXX at Atlantic and Kernan is clean, large, and inviting.

I really do prefer shopping in locally owned, locally operated shops and boutiques that populate our island.  I’ve found I have rarely had to leave the beach to any shopping these past several years.  But yeah, I did have to check out the new to TJ’s … I admit it.  Still,  I’ve got my favorites shops, close to home, and have found plenty of bargains there, too, over the years.

We’ll be showing you all the shopping the beaches has to offer, and hopefully, we won’t go broke, doing it!  For some of us, there’s not such concept as window shopping.  Lucky beaches boutiques…The Beaches Online investigative writers are heading your way!  We’ll come with our cameras, to showcase your lovely interiors and inventory  –  and our wallets, you know…just in case.  🙂

Where do YOU love to shop at the beach?  Tell us in the comments. We want to know where you find your treasures!
