Paragliding over Jax Beach

It was a gorgeous fall afternoon at the beach.

We stopped in at Jax Beach pier, to just spend a few minutes soaking in the sunshine and the weekend ambiance.

This weather is great for so many things.  There are still those who’re willing to swim – even skinning it in the ocean whose temps are dropping into the low 60s these days.
Most surfers donned a wet suit if they had one.

The weather’s terrific for biking, jogging, walking, lounging on the sand with a book, or building a sand castle.

And for those of us who care, the dew point was low enough to make it a good hair day.  This season – from about November through April – is delicious weather for so many things.

Although we’re not paragliders, it must have been a spectacular day for that, as well. Soaring above Jacksonville Beach and over the pier, against an azure sky and above the azure ocean? For that person, an exhilarating ride, no doubt.
