Beaches Town Center Comings and Goings

If you haven’t been to the Beaches Town Center since the Thanksgiving holiday, boy, have you missed a lot.

The group of shops that straddles the border between Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach welcomed a new eatery, and waved goodbye to another.

M Shack, which we posted about before its official opening, is now open to the public. Burger lovers, this is for you. The casual walk-in eatery, established by David Medure (yes, the same Medure who owns the swanky Restaurant Medure in Ponte Vedra Beach) features burgers, fries, and more. M Shack replaces The Book Mark, which moved into a neighboring location in Neptune Beach.

While we welcome M Shack to The Beaches, we also say ‘farewell’ to another establishment.

Caribbee Key shuttered its doors on Sunday, following many years of great times and good food in Neptune Beach. Visitors to the area will miss the establishment.

The now coveted space at 1st Street and Atlantic Blvd is available for another business. Who will fill the void? We’ll keep you updated on The Beaches Online with any developments.
