It’s the Perfect Time for Winterfest…

…at Adventure Landing, now through January 2.

School is out and the kids are  looking for something to do.   Why not take them over to Adventure Landing’s first Winterfest and let them experience some northern winter fun right here at the beaches?  Check out all the details about Adventure Landing’s Winterfest here.

Have you been to Winterfest yet?  Got pictures to share?  We want to see how you look on ice skates (or your friends!), or just having some winter fun in the Florida sun.  We’ll post them right here – you could be featured on our front page!   Email them to info@thebeachesonline.com or leave a comment and we’ll work it out from there.

We haven’t been yet, but we’ll definitely make it there before it’s over.  We’re hanging on to our Money Magazine for that free rental coupon for one pair of ice skatest; we love outdoor ice skating. Check it out; there are a lot of Winterfest coupons. Show up with a donation of four canned goods and you’ll get a free round of mini-golf, while the Fraternal Order of Police will distribute the goods to children’s charities  in Jacksonville  who need a hand at this time.

There’s no admission to Winterfest, so families can come in and just enjoy the ambiance of a wintry day or night wandering the park,  but there are  costs associated with the various activities.

Check it out, and let us know what you think.    We can’t wait to lace up our skates and twirl the ice, legends in our own minds.  Winterfest’s not just for little kids, you know 🙂
