Meeting Austin Adamec
The beaches community really is a fertile place for musical talent, too. Must be that salt air, those sea breezes. Growing up at the beaches is a fortunate thing! Well, we already knew that, but it really is something; we roam the beaches every day and see all kinds of creativity flourishing, everywhere we go.
Today we sat down with one young man whose music is making an impact in so many ways.
Austin Adamec of Atlantic Beach, a graduate of Fletcher High School and University of Florida, is now making a name for himself in music; he’s on the cusp of something big. Already selling his music on iTunes, Austin makes regular trips to Nashville where he records original songs, and is keeping his options open. We talked with him for a good while; had a great beachside interview, even while the day’s surf was enticing both Austin and TBO’s Mike Kaufmann, who interviewed him.
Instead, we enjoyed the waves in the background while Austin shared his passion for music and treated us to one of his songs on acoustic guitar. What a treat!
We’ll be sharing more about Austin including the video interview, in the next few weeks. We’re thrilled to be featuring him on The Beaches Online and we know you’re going to enjoy hearing his music here, too. More on that, later.
If you’d like to see Austin in concert, you can – right here at Beaches Chapel . On March 9, Austin will be opening for Phil Whickham, and tickets are available for $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. You may purchase tickets by clicking here!
