Warning issued as Colin eyes Jax Beaches

Tropical Storm Colin is charging through the Gulf of Mexico and eyeing the Florida coast.

A tropical storm warning is in effect from Indian Pass to Englewood, along the gulf coast.

A tropical storm warning is currently in effect for our beach communities.

Our communities can expect inundating rains, with local amounts in excess of six inches.

In terms of the wind, we can expect gusts in excess of 50 mph during the duration of the event.

The worst of the impacts should begin late Monday and last until Tuesday as Colin races by.
