Twelve Nights of Christmas: Where We Drive Around, So You Don’t Have To
On the second night of Christmas lights, we found another Ponte Vedra Beach home with a similarly decorated scene. Lights galore, and many vignettes arranged across the lawn. Again, we got out of the car and wandered slowly back and forth in front of the house, snapping photos.
The family, understandably curious about the attention came outside we’re sure, to check out the photographer. Who wouldn’t? But they were a friendly group, and when we explained our mission were happy to oblige by posing for a few pictures in front of their lights display. The kids ran into the house to get Mom who, they told us, was really the person to applaud for the family’s exhibit.
The Jenkins son, a student at Landrum Middle School in Ponte Vedra Beach, is counting the days until his holiday break. For the record, he gets out on December 16, one hour earlier than the school’s regular dismissal time!
Everyone loves a Nativity scene.
